I was hesitant about my reservations after reading some of the reviews. The casino offers many draws going on.There is a bingo hall and a movie theater on site.I was impressed with the buffet as I don't always like them.It was smaller than most but well presented with the food being very fres-Thurs are buy 1 get the other free.They offer boating and sea-doos on the river.The pool is what I enjoyed most -a great pool for a casino hotel-beats any other in Laughlin-even has a bar.There is another restaurant onsite with a new one in the making and a fast food area with pizzas.,chinese etc.All staff were very friendly except for check-in-I found them a bit rude and uninterested in our stay-did not welcome us or give us any info on the resort.When we go to Laughlin again we will stay here.
We were surprised as we entered the grounds of the Avi resort-it is a quite oasis 10 miles from the casinos in Laughlin on the Colorado river-with a beautiful beach and new swimmimg pool area-waterfalls is very clean -choose a room in the beach tower overlooking the pool and river-we paid only $ 37.00 mid week rate.
